Technical Speed and Running Performance

The staff at Elite combine experience with technology to assess both the physical ability and technique that generate speed and power. Utilising a 25m indoor running track and larger outdoor facilities, speed gates, jump mat and force platforms, strength dynamometry and a cutting-edge 3D motion analysis system (with high speed video).

We seek to analyse and improve biomechanical inefficiencies to improve these aspects of performance. Sessions are conducted as 1-on-1 or in a group/team setting

Speed training aims at making players "...better at reacting to stimuli, improve acceleration, move effectively in multiple directions and change direction or stop quickly" - Milanovic, Z. Et al (2014).
