Pitch Ready Lower Limb Testing

“Make the Complicated Simple”

Lower limb injuries in sprinting and change of direction sports (specifically ACL and knee injuries, as well as hamstring, calf and hip / groin injuries) cost an individual athlete and sporting teams dearly in terms of games missed, with well known long term health implications following such injury. Re-injury risk also plagues return to sport – with 8-30% typically quoted in the literature. Like most things in life, prevention is better than cure, but time is precious and needs to be utilised in the most efficient manner possible. Developed by Tim McGrath (PhD) as part of his post-doctoral research and is the culmination of over 15-years experience in professional sport, PITCH READY is a precise testing system available in Australia, the UK and the USA which utilises a cloud-based software platform to identify and provide clinically meaningful strategies to reduce known injury risk factors, as well as promotion of ‘gold-standard’ injury-prevention programming for lower limb injury at the ankle, knee, hip and groin. In this manner the best ‘bang for buck’ strategies are often utilised, creating time efficiency and increasing compliance. Pitch Ready takes careful utilisation of the latest scientific literature, as well as cutting edge practice for lower limb rehabilitation. The objective of this testing is to provide athletes with definitive individualised and progressive information they can use in the real-world to help maximise potential for injury prevention and successful return to elite sport.

Pitch Ready Provides:

  • Research-derived and validated injury prevention
  • Cutting edge risk analysis
  • Maximise rehabilitation efficiency
  • Feedback on appropriate safe return to sport
